Operative Goals:
- Teaching materials – The staff of the Institute for Excellence in the Humanities will prepare and develop structured lesson plans for teachers.
- Teacher training.

- A Biennial Conference on excellence in the humanities.
Method
The Institute for Excellence in the Humanities develops lesson plans in the humanities.
These lesson plans are written in accordance with the Ministry of Education's national curriculum;
enriched with humanistic focal points and studying from Jewish sources and Jewish and general literature throughout the ages;
and supplemented with intellectual and social discussions.
The lesson plans are formulated from an interdisciplinary viewpoint,
integrating various areas of knowledge as well as social and emotional processes from the students' own experience.
The Target Population
Teachers of the humanities from all sectors of Israeli society who want to strengthen and enrich their teaching capabilities and take a
Zionist-Humanistic approach.
The lesson plans are designed for teachers of the 5th-12th grades.
